Hazel is a beautiful 2 year old American Pit Bull Terrier who needs a forever home. She LOVES people like no other, especially kids! Hazel is calm and surprisingly low-energy so she will be perfect for any setting. She is very gentle and will not jump all over kids. Hazel is a total lovebug! Honey is an adorable 1 1/2 yr old goof-ball. She was abandoned at the Carson shelter in Los Angeles County on St. Patrick's day and no one would give her a chance. Her luck changed and she was brought up to Bakersfield for a second chance at loving home. She's great with everyone, and seems to be okay with other dogs. She may need some training but has been very responsive to verbal commands. Honey is UTD on all her shots and is spayed. Macie is a three year old pitbull/lab mix. She was a family dog until her family decided they no longer wanted her and left her at a high kill shelter. Macie was sad and confused when our rescue got her on the day she was scheduled to die. Macie is a quiet girl. She is not a demanding dog and waits patiently for her treat or daily walk. Cupcake and two of her puppies were surrendered to our rescue after her owner lost her home to foreclosure. Cupcake is an active, young dog that loves to play and will need room to run. She also would benefit from basic obedience training. She is eager to learn and please and catches on quickly. She loves people and would make a loyal companion. She is small in stature and has an eye catching look about her. We would love to see the sensitive girl in the right home. As always, a home visit is required with all of our Pit Bull adoptions.
